Ugg boots.... love em or hate em

I have been debating getting a pair for a very, very long time but getting me to pay $100+ for boots is not easy. I'm normally a payless type of gal. A girl at work had them and I tried them on and OMG... I want them . I'm thinking either pink or black.

Do you love em, hate em or are you somewhere in between.

My DD and I both got UGG boots for Christmas two years ago. (Just like the pair you like but the shorter length!) We them!

I have brown ones, she has pink ones. I will say that her pink ones are pretty worn looking now. She's in college and wears them every day in the cold weather. She has an apartment and walks to all of her classes, shortest walk is 15 minutes, longest is 30 minutes. The salt from the streets really did a number on the boots' appearance.

My daughter is 21 - I agree, for the younger ones, they're adorable with skirts!

I don't like them and I guess maybe it's my age (close to 50) but I just think they look dumb with skirts....BUT my daughter loves them..she buys the generic brand not the real UGGs and she is on her second pair. (she NEVER wears them with skirts though)


I'm sure most here would think my taste in shoes is yucky since my kids do. I now go for comfy over cute.

OMG ~ I love them! I wear mine all over...airplanes, in the snow, heck even recently in Las Vegas!!!! I have 4 pairs of the boats, and a pair of clogs. The clogs are great with jeans, the boats with skinny jeans, skirts, casual dresses, workout pants, etc. My pale pink talls are really worn but they all hold up so nice....my advice is to get the limited edition Uggs (the beige patchwork ones are ADORABLE)

I got them at the beginning of the winter season. You might be able to find some on clearance, depending on where you live. Kohls around here already has all their spring/summer stuff out.

I have not worn boots in years, but usually prefer leather ones if I am going to wear them...however, I do love Uggs slippers and their moccasin type shoes.. I also love Hotter's, which are made in England....

I am sorry to be the dissenting voice. I am sure that they are super comfortable but they look so utilitarian and clunky. I also think they get raggedy-looking very quickly because of the suede. But, I would bet that I wear a lot of things that would make other people go "what the...?" so I say get them if you love them!

DD and I got them for Xmas. DD wears her UGGS all the time. She just loves them. I like them but they run a little big and I only wear a size 5. I got the five but really could use a size smaller. That would put me into the kids UGGS.
