It's not about affording them. There are plenty of things I can afford to buy my kids, that I don't buy, because I don't want spoiled kids. Especially five of them!
Well that is why I don't have 5 kids. Spoiled kids are not bad kids. You can be spoiled and still know that it is a privilege and NOT a given.
You buy what you can afford and if I'm not wearing knock offs there is no way I'm letting my daughter just because she will grow out of them. Ugly or not when you live in a climate that is averages 40 degrees for 5 months you want warm feet.
I am not ashamed of my "Brand Name" love and I hope my daughter likes nice things as well when she grows up. Yes, there are some things you go the cheap route on for kids but for the most part i like to give my child nice things.
