Uber while staying on site

I am curious as to whether anybody has used uber while staying on site? Specifically we are staying at Poly and would prefer to use Uber to go to AK, HS and maybe Epcot. (not a fan of buses) I have heard that you get a parking pass when you check in to the hotel. Can you bring this with you to allow the uber driver to get into the parking lots and drop you off near the front of the parks? Also, when you are ready to leave, can the driver come and get you near the front of the park or would the better plan be to meet at a nearby resort that is walking distance from the park?

My daughter uses Uber a lot. At MK, she uses the Contemporary for pick up and at Epcot, she uses the Beach Club. The Uber driver can get into the resorts easily by showing ID. We don't have experience with AK, but you could use the Swan for HS and then take the boat...
