Do you need to have car seats for kids to use uber on site? Will be doing Disney transport but just in case we're running late or wrecked would like the option. Kids will be 3 & 5 (both tall - 3yr meets height & weight for booster seat)

I wouldn't recommend Uber for kids of that age. Uber does have a family service available in certain markets, not sure if WDW is one of them, but they will only have 1 car seat and there's no guarantee that it will fit your child. If you are comfortable with both children using backless boosters, you can check out Bubble Gum boosters. They are small and very light weight. Ubers are considered regular cars, not taxis, and you have to follow all child safety seat laws.

Yes you must use car seats for kids that age in FL. Skip uber. Stick with the onsite transportation.

Ok. That's what I thought. Just worried when I see comments about taking 1hr - 1.5hrs to get somewhere.

Thanks. The law is very different where I live (not USA), so trying to work out to deal with America.
Here it's height and weight dependant rather than age, and taxis are exempt.

During our last trip, I used Uber a lot. A family member ended up in the hospital while we were on vacation. I used Uber to travel back and forth to the hospital. One day I tried to take my kids with me to the hospital. I was unable to get an Uber with two carseats. One, yes, but not two. I would keep that in mind when planning. I ended up leaving one kid with my husband while one kid and I went to the hospital.
