Uber from SNA to DLR? Cost and travel time?

Has anyone done Uber from SNA to DLR? We are actually going to HoJo on Harbor. Just trying to get a sense of how much the cost will be. We are a family of 5 so we may need to request a SUV or van. Also, how long did it take? We will be arriving at 10:25am on a Wednesday, first week of December.

Taxi is about $45 +tip for a car or minivan.

15-20 min ride with no traffic.

Pick up time all depends on available Uber drivers in the area. Taxis are almost always on standby at SNA.

I always land with the intention of taking Uber, but if it gonna be a delay we just hop in a cab and go.

I took an Uber from the Super 8 on Katella to SNA and it took just under 20 minutes and cost just over $20

If you have never used Uber, and set up an account. You will get a credit for your first trip.

We used them for the first time ever on October 24 from SNA to Park Place Inn (we had the $30 credit for downloading the app). As soon as we picked up our luggage I requested a car. He called me almost immediately to let me know he was on his way, and wanted to know our exactly location. We waited 6 minutes and were at the hotel pretty quickly. $24 total. On our return trip he came in just under 2 minutes, and we were at the airport in 16 minutes, 40 seconds from the time we loaded the car and got on the road. Same cost.

Both drivers were courteous, drove safely, and cars were clean!
