Uber from Orlando to Port Canaveral and back

Hi there,
This year we are staying outside the Orlando Airport and wanted to know if anyone had experience taking an Uber to Port Canaveral for their cruise or back. We have stayed at the Hyatt MCO before and taken the Disney Transportation, but thought it might be cheaper and more convenient with timing to take an Uber this time. Our biggest concern is the availability of Uber - are their drivers that want to drive to the Port from Orlando and would there be Ubers at the Port when we return to take us back to Orlando.
We used Uber last trip to DisneyWorld and absolutely loved it - so much cheaper than a cab and more convenient than Magical Express. This time we want to take it to start our cruise as well. Thanks for any advice or thoughts.

Don't know about availability, but I've read that Uber from port to MCO runs at least $100.

Thanks - that is the price for Uber Black from Orlando airport. If you stay at a hotel outside the airport - we are staying at the Homewood Suites Orlando Airport, then you can get UberX. The fare estimate is about 27-45 dollars depending on traffic from there. For some reason the airport blocked regular Uber from picking up at the airport

I just want to make sure Ubers will be available to pick us up from the cruise to take us back to Orlando

I was able to book a rental car for only $55.00 from MCO to the Port.
