Uber from John Wayne (SNA)

Does Uber still pick up at SNA? If so, does it pick at the arrivals level, or where? I used them last year but I can't remember what level.

Yes they are at SNA. I was told they meet just outside baggage claim (we are thinking of using them next weekend for the first time).

We had Uber pick us up in August. The driver will ask where you are when he/she accepts the ride. We were picked up right outside baggage claim.

I think it was $25. It was the first time that I used Uber, so it was actually free due to a code they had sent me. I tipped the guy $6.

I took a taxi from John Wayne to the Marriott (770 W. Convention Way in Anaheim), and it ended up being almost $50.

I took an Uber from the Marriott to John Wayne, and it was less than $25. So yes, I highly recommend taking Uber.

Otherwise, my boyfriend took a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and he only paid $10. So if you're okay with an Anaheim resort shuttle, that's probably your cheapest option.
