Uber/car rental?

I need tips for car rentals. We have a reservation to pick up a vehicle at the onsite car pick up but I find it's way more than to pick up at a diff location off Disney property...but thinking it might be a big pain to do so? Where have you rented a vehicle from before? Any tips with discount codes? We only need a vehicle for 2 days of our trip (to go to the outlets and to universal), but perhaps it would be cheaper to über it?

Try Autoslash.com They will search and apply any coupon codes/discounts automatically. They saved me nearly 1/2 on a rental in Las Vegas this year. Their search is a little strange to use at first. Enter your info and it will only give you rates from Sixt (which are always high). There will be a link in the email to click. Click the link and verify the dates and times and then in about 30 minutes you will get an email with prices from several car companies. (Alamo usually is NOT on the list)

You can also track and existing reservation through Autoslash and they will notify you if they have a better deal.

I noticed you put Uber in the title. Uber/Lyft are great services but they are not allowed to pick up at Orlando International airport. They are allowed to drop you off at the airport and it costs about $20-$25 for that trip. Much less than a taxi. I also have Uber/Lyft coupon codes for new riders. Anyone interested send me a PM for them.

If you have 4 or fewer riders, no kids under 6 (needing a car seat), and can fit all your purchases in the trunk of a small car, uber rt to the nearest outlets should be around $20-$25, and to Uni rt $30-$40. So if you'll just be making those 2 trips, uber might be cheaper if you can't get a car for under $65 for both days. Uber could be higher if you run into a surge, which in your situations would be most likely returning from Uni around park closing. Usually, surge adds around 20% to the fare, but it could be as much as double for 1 trip.

p.s. Also factor in parking at Uni if you drive yourself. I think it's $20.

I've been quoted considerably higher! Like over $150 a day to pick up/drop off the vehicle at Disney, which is crazy because we can get the vehicle from MCO for the whole trip for that price!

Search the car rental places on Hotel Plaza Blvd....near Disney Springs...MUCH cheaper...But I'd still use Uber!

Check Mousesavers website as well, with info. on discount codes, and different places to rent on and close to property. I am not sure when you are going, but I was pricing for Christmas week, and found d $50 a day from the Dolphin.
