Definitely Mackinaw Island, Michigan. Beautiful island with a few wonderful hotels, great restaurants, awesome views of the 5-mile bridge connecting the upper and lower peninsulas, horse drawn carriage rides and tours of the island, bike rentals (8miles around the island), and no cars allowed except for a police car and ambulance. It is especially wonderful at night when the only sound is the clip clop of the horses. And don't forget the fudge!!!
