Leaving our last stop in Nashville and 800 miles to home, the cab of our pick-up was really quiet. Shirley said, "Two and a half months and it's over. It's over".

Within Our Circle of Friends there was no way to explain the beauty, the awesomeness, the history, the people. Hooking up the laptop to a flatscreen really demonstrated our trip. A common comment, "I / we had no idea".. When we started out we had no idea either.

With over 2,200 hits on our Board threads (pictures) you may not be able to do a trip on this scale, but it may give you a hint to peek around the corner. What's out there ?????? It's called W O W ! !

To summarize, looking for a word, phrase or sentence was fruitless. We just could not get our arms around the experience, but Shirley would not quit searching, thinking, looking.

I referenced 'Our Circle of Friends'. Shirley said, "I get it. This was OUR CIRCLE OF LIFE TRIP. A beginning and God willing, another beginning in the future".

Yeah pics. Can't wait for more!!!!! One of these days, I'm gonna do what you just did - there's alot of beautiful country to see out there.

Rushmore is so cool.

Did you see Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint there? (old movie reference)

We went to Mt. Rushmore earlier this year. Hadn't been there for almost 30 years. It's a great area - especially if you have kids. Although my family did spend wayyyyy too much time in the gift shop there.

Remember the ol lady commercial, "Wheres the beef !" Well, John found the good stuff, that'd be some mighty fine eat'n right there !

WOW ! And I call that Black Hills pic a window with a view. :thumbsup2

Awesome, awesome, awesome.
Did I mention those are some awesome pics ?

So those are the Badlands ?

Okay everyone, altogether now,
"How bad are they ?" :lmao:

I think it amazing to see the lines on the hills. A true beauty of nature, very artistic!!!

I am in awe that such rocks ? mountains ? exist . But while I tend to be a nosey sucker, I'll leave the climbing to others to find out whats on top or the other side.

I'd bet Shirley would do that if ya'll had the right equipment !:thumbsup2 (add it to her "Adventure" series).

:thumbsup2 Was there a grizzly chasing those people up the hill ? :confused3That's the only way I'm climbing that. :lmao:

Frank may be right.

It would not surprise me. "John, do you think they have a Novice Class to take instructions in climbing" ???????

If Shirley would have asked that question, I would have not bluffed on the Branson Zip Line. I would have faked an acute case of 'Intententional Grippe', at one time called Intestinal Grippe (flu like symptons).
