Typical budget for kids onsite

My kids save most of the allowance during the year just for our big Disney trip. They have to use their own money on tatoos, hair braiding, pins, treats they really want, souveniers, ect. My oldest spent $250 (bought lots of t-shirts) and my two younger kids spent about $150 each. My daughter loves the tiny figures in collectable packs.

I find a budget hard to keep and stick to for the kids. Often, I'll by stuff for them ahead of time and bring it with us, which I can get away with while they are still young.

Last year was the first time I really gave my kids a budget. My mil had given my 3 youngest $50 Disney gift cards on the first day of our trip and they used those to buy anything they wanted. I got them a couple of little things throughout the week but anything big they had to buy on their own. My 14 yr old loves Disney but not into buying Disney souvenirs so my mil gave him $50 cash and he came home with $50 cash, he didn't want to buy anything!
