We are heading down the week before Easter and will spend a day at TL, our first time there... With an opening time of 9:00, is there any reason to be there before 8:30???
People do line up waiting to get in. If you don't care where you sit, then I guess it wouldn't matter. I would not get there any later than 8:30 though.
With a 7 MO, we need a shady spot... Any suggestions as to were to get a good spot???? I fear getting there early, being towards the front, but not getting a good spot because we don't know the direction to head..
It has been awhile since I have been there. I know there are many trees that make for good shady spots. Not sure but I think maybe it might be to your left once you approach the water. Just look for the trees and runnnnnnn for a chair. Good Luck!
I would recommend 8:30, too. There will probably be a dozen or so people there, so it won't be too bad.
Regarding a shady spot, when you get in, stay to the left! We always run to a nice little shady (& sunny! ) spot to the left of the wave pool. It will be behind a little snack stand, and a lifeguard is sitting there watching over the wavepool. It is a great area and we will be visiting it again in late April!
BTW...we even took our stroller in with us! It was a little interesting to drive on the sand, but was great when baby needed a nap! Our dd was 7mo too, during her first visit. She loved it and even fell asleep in my arms while we were sitting in the shallow end of the wave pool!
