My 6 yr old son is 47 inches and very brave. Is there any slides he can ride? Looking at the website, etc. It appears that the only thing he can go on is the family raft ride.

Hi there, we just did TL on last Friday. My son is also 6, he did the Crushin Gusher, but he's taller, I think. Also, there is a little kiddie section on the left side of the park. The tube slide is really slow, but there is one over there that you can run and go down on your belly. My son LOVED that one! He must of done it a hundred times. I wouldn't worry about it too much, if he's anything like the 6 kids we took to TL, they never wanted to leave the wave pool! :sunny:

How were the water temps last week? It sounds like it was not too cold to swim.
We are headed down next week.

The only one he might not be able to do is the very steep enclosed slide, I cannot remember the name, he will be able to do all of the other one.

how about BB? My dd's were 6 our last trip, the smaller one was just 44", and much preferred BB to TL. They thought the kid's area at TL was to babyish and they hated the wave pool after they got knocked down. BB has the ski patrol area which is just for kids. It has an area where they walk on "ice bergs" to cross the pool, some slides, a tube ride, a zip line, etc. There is also a family raft ride with a ski lift you can ride to the top if you don't want to walk, and a lazy river. They also have a wave pool but it's calmer then TL's.
