Hello!
We will be going in June with a 6 year old, 4 year old, and 1.5 year old. We definitely want to try a water park, but I wasn't sure which would be better for the little guys. I know both offer a ton of things to do, I was just wondering which is more little kid friendly.
Any input welcome!
Thanks in advance!

I think I would chose Blizzard beach. the 1.5 year old will mostly be the kiddie park or the edge of the wave pool whick both parks have, but the wave pool at typhoon lagoon is pretty intense. I feel Blizzard beach has more water slides/ tube rides that kids this age enjoy. Plus all the kids seem to love the zip line.

Totally agree. Although DS11 out of the blue the other day said next trip, we're doing BOTH! :)

My son is 2, we went the water parks over and over this past summer.

I like Blizzard Beach better. The kiddie area is close to the front of the park, whereas Typhoon Lagoon has the kiddie area right at the back, it's a pain to get to. My son loved the little water slides at Blizzard, he spent over an hour just going up and down the slides! There is also an area next to the kiddie area, I think maybe the preteen or teen area, which looked like it would be fun for bigger kids. Having both areas next to each other makes it easy to go back and forth.

I'd suggest BB. If you are going to get a locker, you might want to consider getting one in the ski patrol area. The 6 year old might like that area if he/she is a swimmer. My kids were on kindergarten when they first loved the ski patrol area, but both are strong swimmers. And it's right near the kiddie area too.

I'll offer the same advice we were given: Blizzard Beach. It is much more geared towards the younger children. Also, we were told that the wave pool at TL is rough - as in the waves are rough (easily knock over kids) and the bottom of the pool is rough (so when they get knocked over, they also get scraped up). Also, BB has two different kid zones, which look great. One of our big regrets of our trip this summer is that we didn't get to BB (and the kids are STILL reminding us how we failed them, lol)
