Hi all! I’ve seen conflicting reports on the boards. Which attractions at Typhoon Lagoon would I NOT be able to ride as a solo traveler?

Hi. I've done TL solo and you can expect to not be able to ride any of the slides that require multiple people. That will be Miss Adventure Falls, and Gangplank Falls. Crush 'n' Gusher has three slides, two of which require a pair, but one can be done solo or in tandem, so you can only do that one (they are all pertty similar). You can still have a lot of fun there.

Basically only the ones that require 2 or more people. I face the same problem with my H2O Glow Party visit to Typhoon Lagoon in August.

Anyone tried TL solo since it reopened this year? Are the CMs trying to pair solo/small groups with others or just refusing to let you ride period?

I did VB last year with a friend and they let us wait to the side until other people came up so we could group together on larger raft rides and meet the weight requirement, worked great.

I did H20 Glow Night solo last year, and tend to be a little extroverted when at the parks. For Miss Adventure Falls, they allowed you in line as fewer than a party of 3, and I just had to wait until another party of 1 or 2 showed up, which wasn't an issue. For Gangplank Falls, the Cast Member told me tough luck and that's when I stood by the entrance and asked the next party of 2 if they could "adopt me" for the next 15 minutes lol! and they were more than happy to. I will point out that the raft for Gangplank is tight, so I would skip it just cause it wasn't as exciting as Miss Adventure Falls, you had to be proactive in finding a party, and you're VERY close to strangers.

Also, one of the Crush n' Gusher slides is 2-person only, so you can still do Crush n' Gusher, you are just limited to a particular slide.

Last summer on Miss Adventure Falls, the CMs always made our 2 person party wait for another party of 1, 2, or 3. Are they now allowing 2 people to ride it?

To the original poster, definitely go and have fun. Like another person said, skip Gangplank as it’s kinda tight with strangers and not as fun. But Crush n Gusher is a blast by yourself on whatever slide let’s you go alone.

ETA: I just noticed this thread originated last year. If anyone knows the answer to my question Re MAF for 2025 (bolted above) I’d be grateful for the help

I visited TL in May on a solo trip and was able to ride Misadventure falls, I just had to wait for a party of two or three to come along. I can't remember how it worked for parties of two - maybe it depends on how busy they are.
