Anyone know if they have stopped giving snorkles to guests?
We visited TL the last week in May and went through SHARK REEF. However, they didn't offer snorkles for guests, just the masks. When did they stop giving our snorkles and why? I asked a CM (at the "lost child" station -- yes, DS & I got separated) who said she is usually a lifeguard, and she didn't know of any changes and that last time she was stationed there, they had snorkles.
Now, granted, the day we went there were 1 hour waits for everything, including SHARK REEF, so maybe they just couldn't keep up with the crowds.
We went to Typhoon Lagoon on May 26 and were given masks and snorkels. We were there just as the Shark Reef opened and still waited a bit to get in the water.
Usually I am just able to keep getting right in but this was the first time that I've had a bit of wait, so we only did it once. Maybe because of the lines, they let people opt to go with just a mask so they didn't have to wait longer while the snorkels were sanitized.

Otherwise you'd have to take your face out of the water to breathe and wouldn't see any fish.
But I think it made the normally cold Shark Reef water feel a lot warmer. LOL
