Typhoon Lagoon seasonal closure?

Hey y'all!

We're planning to take the family back to WDW the week of 2/11 to 2/18. Wondering if Typhoon Lagoon will be open then. Do they do seasonal closures?

We're planning to take the family back to WDW the week of 2/11 to 2/18. Wondering if Typhoon Lagoon will be open then. Do they do seasonal closures?

ONE of the Water Parks will be open in the Winter.

During the Water Park (WP) refurb cycle,

one of the two WP's will close at a time,

and the other will remain open (weather permitting, on a daily basis.)



Disney tends to want Blizzard Beach open during Christmastime

as it is already decorated for the holiday (all the time.)

But, if necessary, they will swap which WP will be open,

and which will be closed during Christmastime.

(No way to predict, before they announce.)



Figure that one WP will close from near the end of October,

through the early part of January...

at which time that first WP will reopen,

just as the other WP will close...

through the middle (or later) of March.



At that time, both WP's will be back open

through the rest of the warm season...

until late October begins the refurb cycle again.

TL was closed the past two Feb and is currently scheduled to be closed next Feb.
