I am trying to nail down dates for our trip at the end of next October and was browsing around some refurb schedules to get a long range idea of what things might be down while we are there.

It seems as though Typhoon Lagoon goes down the last Sunday in October for a few months every year.

Is that accurate or since it will be down for so long this year is there a chance it may not go down until later in the year next year?

That is accurate. TL and BB are closed for rehab the same time each year.

I think the length of the rehab also has to do with the fact that they just don't need 2 water parks open from October to March.
