Thinking of one day at water park . 4 year old and 8 year old. What's your favorite? And why? Thx!

Blizzard. The family raft ride is better than TL, the wave pool is tamer, and the kids area is amazing. Mine will do the zipline a billion times. I think there are just way more things for everyone to do at BB.

- Family raft ride can not be beat
- Calmer wave pool
- Awesome Ski Patrol area for those preteen and under
- Fun cartoon atmosphere
- Slides where you race against each other are fun

My kids are 7 and 2...Blizzard Beach is awesome! It has the best kids area

Also, the little donuts that they sell in BB are one of the best snacks at WDW IMO. I could eat those things all day long!

The only thing I didn't like was how rough the texture was on the bottom of the wave pool. Not sure if TL is the same or not.

If you like mini golf the Summer/Winter courses are at BB.

I think BB is better and agree with what everybody else said. We have been to both

We love TL. It seems bigger and more of a beachy vibe. BB has a lot of rides but not many we could do at the time (I was pg and DD was 3). When we go in June we'll be hitting up TL.

Go look at pics and read up on rides. That'll help decide which is better suited for your family. It each has a loyal following!

Are you talking about the fact that is is closed now? If so - both water parks close for a couple months (not at the same time) in the winter (slower swim) season to have all their general/annual maintenance done. Right now it is BB turn and it will re-open in a few weeks.

I think that's just a function of how recently it's been resurfaced. Our first trip to TL, the wave pool was like crushed glass! Kids were scraped up horribly. BB was smooth.

We love both, but BB is a far better choice for the 4-year-old while still having LOADS for your 8-year-old to do.
