Typhoon Lagoon on a Saturday or Tuesday (in September)?

We plan to go to Tyhoon Lagoon during a trip in September. The day that fits best with my plan is a Saturday, but I'm concerned that a weekend day would be crazy busy. The other option for us is a Tuesday, but it's our second to last day and I think I'd rather do one of the parks. Unless of course, it would be much less crowded on a weekday. Any experience on how crowd levels would be in September for a Saturday vs a Tuesday? Thanks!

Waterparks historically are less busy during a weekday. I was their in September last year and went on a Saturday (to Blizzard). It was busy but we did get there around 1pm... we played in the teen pool area for a while and noticed it cleared out the later it got. By an 1.5 left before closing we has 5 or less minute waits on most rides.
We also went to TL during the weekday right when it opened. We walked onto everything just about (waited less then 10 mins for everything). Crowds did build but not horrible. Only thing we waited more then 10 mins was for the reef.

We hit BB once more on the same trip for a morning and it was not very busy and it was a Weds. So personally I think they are less crowded during a weekday in September. But its all in the time you plan to go. It seems the last 2 hours before closing it is much less crowded and that first hour.

TL is our favorite pool! When we go there we go on a weekday because it is so less crowded! The rides are easier to do, food lines shorter and locker areas nicer. If you like the pineapple, coconuts etc. water slide ride, we went on it about 4 times in a row last year - no waiting!:fish:We were so tired that night we were asleep by 7!!!!

We always go to Disney for 2 weeks in September. We visit the water parks several times over the two weeks. Yes, weekdays are slower than weekends. However, if the Saturday works best for you go! It's not that significant of a difference. The first hour open and the last hour open are the best for doing the slides.
