We’re at the mercy of the WDW bus to get to TL. Does it make any sense to try to be at the opening? Or just get in whenever. I saw a pic posted elsewhere if a line of cars waiting to turn into TL so I’m thinking holding off a bit. Also anyone know how crowded the buses are? Now that you have to transfer at DS

I did it in May and the bus at DS was full, but not crazy. Plus, the drive from DS to TL is very short. It took as a lot longer to get to DS than it took from DS to TL.

That said, we got there about ten minutes after opening and it was not busy.Everything was a walk on and even later in the day as it got busy, the lines were never long

Another logistics question. We plan to arrive for opening next week. We have an umbrella reserved. We will need a locker to store our stuff. I'm thinking that, once the doors open, we go quickly to the locker room to store our stuff and then head straight to Miss Adventure Falls for our first ride. Maybe do several more rides when the lines are still short, and then check in for our umbrella after that. Does that make sense? Also, where do we go to check in for our umbrella? How does that work? (And is there a reason why we should do that first thing, even if it means missing out on precious rope drop rides?)
