We went on a weekday in July, so our experience is likely a little different crowd-wise. We walked in at park opening, and really felt like we had the place to ourselves for about an hour. In that time, we were able to pick off 2 tube slides and all 3 body slides without any waiting. It didn't start to feel crowded until after lunch. We were able to do everything in the park (minus the Crush N Gusher slides - height problems for my munchkins) before stopping for lunch about 12:30. We did some repeats from 1-2 and then headed out.
Given the time of year you're visiting, I would imagine that an arrival at the park closer to opening time would have you on your way either just before or just after lunch, giving you 2-3 hours to relax before heading over for MNSSHP. 4 hours should be plenty of time for Typhoon in your situation.
This is what I enjoy reading! We are planning our first every July in WDW this year. Since our tickets include unlimited waterparks, our plan right now is to get in at least 3-4 waterpark visits during our trip. I think we will follow a similar plan and try to hit the waterparks at opening, ride as much as we can (we have 3 kid thrill seekers) and then head back to our room for a late lunch or early dinner. All of our actual park rides have been scheduled for dinnertime or later. Hoping that works well for us.
