Typhoon lagoon evening extra magic hours

has anyone been to Typhoon lagoons evening extra magic hours?
Ds would like to do this on his birthday but Im a bit worried about being bitten alive.Also is it well light Im a wuss when it comes to creepy crawlies etc and am worried i willll be scared stiff the whole time

On the Disney site it shows that BB has AM EMH and TL has PM EMH, last year tho the waterparks had AM EMH most days in August, surprised its so different this year.

I wouldnt have thought bugs would be much of a problem, I'm sure it must be well lit otherwise the lifeguards couldn't see if anyone was drowning!

we do the waterpaks like all our parks,at rope drop,if we stayed after hours we would be well knackerd and well sunburned

we tend to go to the morning emh and then leave at about 2-3pm before it rains...we usually go in july....

I'd be intrested too, we're hoping to do EMH at TL on Sat 16th Aug. Plan to leave MGM (I know but its habit! ) after block parade so'll be at TL about 4pm for a semi-lazy evening!

We did the evening EMH at Typhoon Lagoon last june. We went for the last 2 hours and thought it was very cool. All the pool areas were well lit, the walkways were very dark in places. Crush n gusher was closed though, not sure whether that is the same everytime.

We loved evening EMH - if you get there for around 5, you can ride Crush n Gusher - they usually close it around 7 due to the machinary that operates the attraction needs to be operated in daylight. The other slides are open tho and well lit, it was cool riding them in the twilight. It was also fairly quiet in the evening and I don't really remember any bugs. The chlorinated water keeps them away a little I guess, most bugs prefer pond or river water.
