Typhoon Lagoon, er BLIZZARD BEACH - Advice

Where at Typhoon Lagoon BLIZZARD BEACH would you suggest snagging a lounger? We'd like a shaded area, and preferably close to the Ski Patrol area for our kids. Is the Ski Patrol visible from any loungers? Any shade in that area? Is there a better area to select?

Er, I think you're cross-pollinating.... . Ski Patrol area is at Blizzard Beach. Is that where you're headed? IIRC, there were quite a lot of shady seats all around that area. We LOVE BB! Have fun!!

Ski patrol is at Blizzard Beach. At Typhoon Lagoon, based on my recollection, there is only one sheltered area and it's over near Crush 'n Gusher. There are lots of trees all around, but of course the shade moves all day as the sun moves. You can rent an umbrella space (holds four people) for around $55 for the day. Or, you can splurge and rent a cabana for $325+ (not sure of the exact amount) for six people (and you can add up to four more people in the cabana at a cost of $25 per extra person).

LOL!!! I have NO idea what I was thinking. I noticed my eyes were a little blurry as I was typing this last night...just didn't realize my brain was blurry too!

Yes, we are needing advice for seating at Blizzard Beach! Now my title is all messed up - better go change that!!! Goodness!

There are shaded loungers near Ski Patrol. If you are walking from Ski Patrol up to the loading area of the ski lift, they are on your left.

In general I much prefer BB to TL. Besides liking the theme better, the TL wave pool is much too rough. I've only been once but that day the waves swamped us every time. The only safe place was in the deepest part. At BB the wave pool waves are medium "fun" size. Easier for kids (of all sizes).

My son says the same thing! Three years ago a big wave at TL knocked him over and he scraped his knee. He's never wanted to go back!
