Typhoon Lagoon: Do we have a chance?

We're heading to WDW in October, arriving late on the 25th. Our first park day will be the 26th. We'd like to hit Typhoon Lagoon one time before it closes for refurb, but I don't know which day it typically closes. Any chance it will be open on the 26th? Just trying to plan as well as I can for making ADR's. Thanks.

Looks to me like the trend has been that the refurb starts on the last Sunday of October in recent years. Anything can happen, but it doesn't look good. Sorry
