Typhoon Lagoon closed? Or no?

We just booked Coronado Springs for New Years into the next week. When I called CRO to book it, the operator told me that both water parks were scheduled to be open in Jan (not sure if we are going to swim or not, but we'll see) -- now I just went to Disney's site:

and it says Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for all of January. Who should I believe...?

I'd believe the web site. Other web sites have it listed as being closed until mid February as well. It only makes sense that it is closed for annual maintenance during the slow water park season.

Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to be down until the second week of February 2004. Blizzard Beach will be open though!

I thought TL went down for pretty much that same time each year... well at least thats what it seems... i dunno

Thanks -- I had a feeling the site was right, but was hoping that Typhoon Lagoon would be open just because our daughter's never been there, but we've been to Blizzard Beach. That's ok though -- she loved the Beach, so we'll just go there again if the weather's warm enough.

Blizzard beach was closed in October, so they must stagger them for winter maintenance.
