Granddaughter is home from the hospital now (had her tonsils and adenoids taken out) and my son-in-law just got her prescription filled a short while ago.. I have NEVER seen such a HUGE bottle of tylenol with codeine (liquid form) in my entire life!!!! And there's even a refill on it!
Someone please tell me that this is a lesser strength than what they give adults.. If not, I believe I'm going to be on some serious "bucket duty" during the time period she needs to be taking it.. They gave it to her in the hospital at 1:55 p.m.. About a half-hour to 45 minutes later my DD and son-in-law were bringing her home in the car and she started to vomit.. I suspect it was at least partially due to the TC on an empty stomach..
Anyone here with experience regarding liquid TC for their children?
