Tybee Island, Georgia

We're thinking of vacationing there in September (a group of 8). Does anyone know of places to stay like condo rentals or villas in the area? Thanks.

You could do a search on he Savannah Beach and Raquet Club. Also the Desoto Hiton has a place on Tybee as well as in Savannah proper. It is fairly new. Many of the places onTybee are old and have been redone many times. There are not alot of choices here. The Ocen plaza is a pretty good place to stay as well. I have stayed there a few times. Rooms book early an dstay full during the summer as people all over Ga head to Savannah for a quick weekend getaway.

My DH and I spent the day there a few years back, it is so beautiful. Ocean Plaza is right on the beach, and is very nice resort.

We also stayed at Ocean Plaza a few years ago. We had a good time while we were there.

FYI:
The only fast food place on the whole island is or was an Arby's.
