We are traveling from Central Texas to San Francisco then Disneyland then back home.
My son is 2 1/2 and we are leaving next month! He is still rearfacing and I need ideas for entertainment. We have a tablet with cellular internet service. Any other ideas?
This will be his first trip and we have outfits (DisneyBounding) picked for all days.

Also, he has recently been potty trained and is in underwear except for night time. He does well in other theme parks. Do you think he would be okay in underwear all day or should I not risk it and put him in pullups in case of long lines and accidents?

We are bringing his stroller (City Mini GT), our stroller saddle bag, his Giraffe and Duffy, extra clothes, small snacks, and other things we normally carry.

Any other tips?

We also will have our Tula for some carrying time which might help me relax in the stress of the crowds.

Our first trip my youngest was the same age and recently potty trained. We did pull ups in the car (drove from IL) in case he fell asleep, but in the park we just did frequent potty breaks, always pottied before getting in long lines, and I brought extra changes of clothes. I also found that if he had to go ASAP it was better for DH to take him into the men's due to no lines for the men's bathroom. Lol I honestly don't think he had any accidents.

Last time we went my daughter had been potty trained for about two months. She did fine with underwear but had one accident when she was so excited by the entertainment that she didn't realize she needed to go. Luckily Disney is the type of place where literally no one bats an eye when these things happen. A very nice cast member helped me out and gave me towels. I was the ****** that brought a change of clothes but no underwear but it was fine. Seriously, I wouldn't worry stick with the underwear. Accidents are no big deal!

As for the car, I would seriously consider turning him around at this point. We had to turn my little one around very early because she constantly got car sick. It makes it a lot easier to help your kid if they are having an issue. Things that help entertain her include- wickie sticks, silly putty, small notebooks with pens, lollipops, stickers. I suggest stocking up on some things at the target bins, or your local dollar store. Try to bring out a new toy, activity every hour or so. I find the iPad can be useful but only for so long.... She actually used to get sick in the car if she looked at it so we had to find new ways to entertain. We also have a lot of luck listening to her favorite music from movies.... Maybe worth getting a few CDs for the car

coloring. they have activity trays for cars that kids can color. I read that people will pack pipe cleaners and the kids will be able to do shapes and parents can makes things. I apparently keeps them busy for a while. We are flying and plan on doing that as well.
