Two weeks to go!

All you first-week-of-June'ers, are you ready? What's left on your to-do list? I still have to pick up a few more clothing items, batteries, ponchos, etc. and of course pack. Other than that, we're ready to go!

I am going to get the suitcases out later this week. We still have a little shopping--most of the same things you need. Although it is making it a little hard to get ready, the last two weeks of May are really busy for us so hopefully that will make the time go by faster Hope to see you there

Well I have already started to pack. Still need to buy some of the snacks we will bring but that is it. Oh and I need to get my oil changed too. I am so excited... I am bouncing off the walls

June 3 is our big day...this is fifth trip and I am as excited as I was the first...We just rec'd our Sea World tickets today (got them free with holiday inn priority club points woo hoo) we've never been to the Orlando SW so that makes this trip even more exciting.!!! Usually we do strict Disney but since the tix were free we are adding it in this trip. I haven't begun to pack...since the weather here in Ohio is finally starting to warm up , we have been wearing our summer clothes so that will have to wait but i am starting to accumulate the "little things" in one spot...sunblock, hats, cameras, etc... 16 days and counting!!!

We are going a week from this Wednesday and CAN'T WAIT! Need to still shop for food/snacks and pick out our 'Disney' wear! Kids have their backpacks ready to pack with all their Disney toys! We are so PUMPED!!!! Seems like forever before it gets here, and will go TOO FAST when we are there....

I'm going to start packing next week! My daughter's having surgery the week before we go so I'll be too busy that week. I've never gone with this large a group before so I'm a bit nervous about that.

My DGD9 is bringing two friends along...yeah, I'm a softie. My daughter, son in law and my 6mo old DGD was going to go, but since the surgery are not going this time. So, since I have this big ol' 2 BR at BCV for 5 nights and 2 AKL rooms for 2 nights booked anyway, I invited my friend Diane to come along and bring her DGD7. Neither one of them has ever been to WDW before and I'm so excited to show them the world.

I was just making my list of things I need to pick up at Sams to send down ahead of time (snacks and stuff), and I thought let me see what is going on on the boards today. I came across this thread.
Today I plan on finishing my credit card sized laminated itinerary cards for everyone to have.
I need to finish ironing on the shirts we are making.
Start stocking up on trail size toilitries.

Haven't started packing yet, but we've got the list made. Just a few more things to purchase. Probably will start the packing this weekend. Hope to see some of you guys there. We'll have our lime green on.

We will be joining you guys on June 1st. We will be staying at POFQ and absolutely can't wait. Suitcases are coming out this week. I still need to get snacks too. 14 days and 21 hours and we'll be seeing you! We will also be celebrating our 31st anniversary! How much more romantic can it be but to celebrate it at the French Quarter!

june 4th is our big day!

i've been picking up things here and there...some new brita bottles, sunscreen, etc. otherwise nothing else done.

i generally pack for ds two days before and myself the day before. dh packs his own stuff.

i am 'mentally packed' LOL i know exactly what i need to bring and where it is.

we have everything bought, except for snacks which we will get next week

and I need to get a bunch of singles and fives to tip along the way

Oh my gosh, reading all these "getting ready" responses I feel I'm way behind! Hubby and I leave June 3rd (return June 7th). We haven't done much accept read these Dis boards night and day trying to figure it all out. For those of you that haven't seen my other posts this is my first trip in 22yrs - I was 12 when I went! And hubby has never been. 17 days to go! We are ridiculous with joy, and if you live in NYC, you'll see us shouting out our excitement at any given time on the streets of Manhattan!

Here's what I've done:
I have made car pick-up reservations from our home to LaGuardia for the morning of June 3rd.
I have made Tiffany car service reservations for pick-up at airport when we get in to MCO at 9am!
I am studying WDW maps and trying to figure out an itinerary of some sort.
We also are trying to narrow down what restaurants we want to PS.
Purchasing our Disney PH passes onsite at our hotel's concierge desk (afraid if we order them now online we won't get them in time!) We are still waiting for our Orland Magicards!?!?
Oh dear not much is done!

Packing and all that, haven't even begun to think of it! Yikes! We are stuffing everything in to small carry-ons so that we don't need baggage claim. We can just GO GO GO!!!!!!!!

We leave a week from Sunday and can hardly wait. This will be our first "no parks" trip, so it seems strange to not have to worry about much of an itinerary! I've already started checking the 15-day forecast and it looks like it's going to be hot, hot, hot! That's fine with us since we'll probably spend the majority of our time at the pool!!!

We leave May 29th. I think I only have a pair of sandals for my son to buy. I have suitcases out and the most everything we don't use on a daily basis gathered up with the suitcases. I used the packing list in the PassPorter guide which was great.
