Two weeks reservation

The online reservation is now letting me make a two weeks length reservation.
I'm a new DVC member, so probably I'm wrong, but isn't this a new feature? Weren't we allowed only to make a reservation of one week and then had to call MS to add nights?

It's only at the 7 or 11 month window that there is a 7 night restriction. Are you at the window or past it?

Yes, since the beginning you have been able to make reservations up to two weeks in length (but no longer than that) as long as when you reserve you are already at least 7 days beyond the 11 month or 7 month window (i.e., your departure date from WDW cannot be more than 11 months plus 7 days out, or for non-home resorts, 7 months plus 7 days out).
