For our Honeymoon, we are wanting to stay on property for 2 weeks. Would we need to book 2 reservations because we can only buy 10 day park tickets and need 14 days worth of park tickets? If that is the case, would they note that on the reservation so we would not have to switch rooms? Also, would our fastpass windows open at different times because of the 2 reservations? We have not been lucky enough to have had this issue before. Thanks.

Buy annual passes....you will get discounts and it is worth it after 10 days.

If you want to can relax those 4 days. Hang out by the pool, tour all the wdw resorts, miniature golf, night time at Disney springs, movie night, visit the Boardwalk.
There are plenty of things to do at the WDW bubble for those 4 off days.

Wow! Now that brings up a whole lot more for me to look into. I am not familiar with annual passes and the perks and how they affect other things such as dining plans and fastpass windows. Thanks for the suggestion.....I will now be diving into the research!

Thanks for the suggestion. With that many days, I can see us taking maybe 1 day to do some other things. We usually do not have time to mini golf or resort tour, both of which we would like to do.

There is also Segway riding, horse carriage rides, nightclub Jellyrolls, riding the boats around bay lake. You will have a great time !

And the big benefit is an excuse to go at least one time within the year's time span since the parks are already paid for. Though some on this list might say more than once more...

If you purchase an annual pass, you will have access to resort, food, merchandise and recreation discounts. The annual passes also include Memory Maker.

Another option, if you would like to take a few days off from the parks would be, perhaps, to buy a 10-day park hopper plus tickets which would give you 10 separate admissions to mini-golf and the water parks.

If you really do intend to spend more than 10 days in the parks, the annual pass is the way to go.

You can also add water park on to those 10 day tickets for a minimal price. AP is most often too pricey for just a two week trip, unless you know you will be back within a year.

I was thinking that already. :P LOL Kind of a 2 for 1.......going the following year before it expires.

If you can work that in, it's perfect. LOTS of folks do that. AP, 2 trips, skip AP the next year and repeat the process, getting AP every other year

The 2nd choice, a 10 day ticket with WP and more option is also a valid one. That gives you 10 park days and 10 water park days. More than enough to keep 14 days busy and way less than an AP, if you aren't returning within 11 months or so.

But the AP discounts are terrific, when you start to combine it all. My friend got one and said it's more than paid for her upgrade for her ticket. I think it has for ours too but we also go a lot more (a drawback, the AP will burn a hole in your pocket), LOL Still, we do find they pay for themselves, even if you have the strength to not go more often. Plus, we get the TiW card. Since we tend to indulge in an adult beverage or 3, each, each day, it more than pays for itself too. And if you don't live in FL, you can only buy one if you have an AP (and maybe DVC, not even sure)

Regardless of whether you decide to get tickets or AP, definitely make one resort reservation. If you make two reservations you will have two separate fastpass days. Plus there is also a chance of needing to change rooms. With the AP price increase, I'm not sure how the math works out these days, but if you decide two tickets are your better option you can buy the tickets separately. Or if you're doing a package to get one of the promotions you can get the 10 day package with the promotion and then get a 4 day ticket separately.

First off congratulations!! As others have said even with the large increase in price of the AP they are still worth it for that long of a stay. The memory maker that is included with the AP is a nice bonus even if you don't think you would use it much. My husband didn't think he would want to be bothered with taking pictures but really had a lot of fun with all the different shots that are available. Make sure you look out for the AP room discounts that Disney often gives out. We have saved some serious money with up to 40 percent discounts on rooms over the years. Have fun doing the research on all that can be available with AP discounts including different tours.

One (1) room res - we are at BCV in May/June for 2 weeks.....one res. I agree with the AP, especially if you can get the Gold AP for $699 through DVC (beware of conflicts on your dates with Blackout dates). It is cheaper than a 10-day PH and you get the AP discounts (of course if you are DVC blue card you get them anyway).

An AP will be more than 2x the price of a 10-day park hopper ticket (unless you are a DVC member or FL resident). Personally, even with the discounts an AP might give you, I wouldn't invest in APs unless you're sure you'd make a second trip within the year.

Assuming by two weeks you mean 14 nights (15 days), I'd go with the 10-day ticket and skip park time on arrival and departure day, and then just work in a couple days to relax at the resort. We have taken similar trips and really enjoy the way that works out. It gives us time to actually relax after traveling and before catching our flight home, and it gives us time to really enjoy the resort and spend time at the pool while on vacation. It also allows plenty of time to explore other resorts (make a dinner reservation, go out for drinks, etc.). Depending on when you are going, you could also attend After Hours and/or a Halloween or Christmas party one of the days you're not using a regular park ticket.

If they have back to back WDW resort reservations, they will have only one FP+ reservation day. They will, however, have 2 ADR days. Regardless, OP, a split stay is not required to solve a ticket dilemma.

Very true. It's hard for some visitors to get past not booking a package. They tend to think that's the only way to go, booking room/ticket and dining all together, even if it's paid for dining.

Something else that OP may not realize, if they want the dining plan they can get it without including tickets. They just have to call to do it, unless they happen to have an AP and book an AP discount room.
