Two Waitlist Question

Had high hopes for booking 3 nights at VGC but my middle night was gone between 7:50 and 8:02 this morning. I'd really like a 2-bedroom so our friends can stay with us, but I waitlisted both a one and two bedroom thinking a one bedroom is more likely to come through. If the one-bedroom comes through, is the two-bedroom waitlist automatically canceled?

Ok, thanks. Any way to avoid that? I could cancel the waitlist for the one-bedroom and take my chances on the two-bedroom, but I'd hate to end up with nothing!

YMMV, but - I had a similar issue come up with my waitlists and we will see if that happens: I currently have 5 nights at BLT and am waitlisting for a 6th night at the beginning of that trip. I also have a wl for the entire 6 nights at a different resort, which is unlikley to come thtrough, but I added that WL right at the 7-mo mark (and it was abailable for the 1st hour at the 7mo mark), so I am probably #1 on that waitlist. When I spoke to MS to put my 5 nights at BLT together, he asked me if the 1 night at BLT came through, if I wanted to cancel the other WL - I said no and he said he'd put a note on the WLs, but we shall see if it happens. From this conversation, at least, if the 1BR comes through first, you'd have to call MS to get it, at which point I'd suggest you let MS know you want to stay on the WL for the 2BR. Good luck!
