Okay, the first questions is for anyone who uses MSN. For a few weeks I've been using Google chat to talk with my friend, but it's very inconvenient for her. So finally, when I was able to, I downloaded it and signed up as fast as possible, but for some reason I can't add anyone to my contacts list. I type her email address into the bar and click 'OK', but as soon as the green bar fills completely, a message replaces it saying that an error has occured and I can't add ehr. I'm new to IMing and am cluless about what to do next. 
The second question regards GIMP. GIMP is basically an image editing program like PhotoShop, but is available to download for free (as opposed to shelling out up to eighty bucks for *other* programs :X). The problem is that I don't know how to download it. I went to Gimp.org and went to download the latest version, but was confused with all the links. And furthermore, my ocmputer won't let me save in the D: drive because, apparantly, I'm not allowed to save there and should check with the administrator (I'm the only user, btw). I'm nervous about doing anything else without knowing exactly what it is I'm doing, and would appreciate any help. Thanks.
