Two Room Reservation

So we are heading back to AKV in June next year and for the first time since purchasing DVC in 2007 we are looking to reserve two rooms!! A two bed Savannah View and a Standard View Studio. Can anyone suggest the best "request" to ensure that our rooms are close together (preferably across the hallway)? Should I simply ask for that? Would it be better to phone for my reservation rather than online?

You will want to have Member Services place a Travel With on both reservations. This can only be done by phone after both rooms have been reserved.

Also, you should not add any location requests other than the Travel With.

And, remind at check in. The only thing I don’t know as I don’t stay at AKV is whether toy have standard and savanah in same area.

I haven’t had the best luck with this. But I have heard other had so good luck!

Thanks for your responses - most appreciated. There are plenty of 2 bed savannah and standard studios close to each other on both trails/each floor so fingers crossed. As we are coming from UK we are there for 2 weeks so would like to think that DVC will also appreciate this point. Our previous requests for locations have always been met.
