Two random questions: Sept event and toddler lanyard...

Hello everyone! Thanks in advance for helping out a newbie!

1. We will be in Epcot during the Sept event. It says that it is a hard ticket event in the World Showcase. I'm not familiar enough with Epcot! Does this mean that the World Showcase will be closed off to people who don't have tickets to this event?

2. Does any know where I can buy a toddler sized lanyard? The kid sized one is still too long for my 2 year old girl, who actually had fun picking out pins from CM's lanyards on our Jan trip. If there is no where to buy one, do you think I could buy a regular one and cut it, then attach some velcro with crazy glue to make it short enough for her?

Can't help you with the September event question. But on the toddler lanyard, I'd suggest waiting until the child is older and there is less danger of accident with one of these around their neck.

The event is being held in World Showplace at Epcot, the former Millinneum Village. It means that unless you have registered and paid for the event you are not allowed in on either Friday or Saturday. On Sunday, at either 11:00 or noon (I'm not sure which) Public Day starts and anyone who is in Epcot is allowed in.
