We are going to be at WDW 10/29 - 11/03. I was wondering

1) what are the crowds going to be like then? It's Halloween weekend - does that mean the parks will be mobbed?

2) how many hours can I realistically expect my kids ages 11, 10 and 6 to tour the parks? I know everyones different but I'm just looking for a general idea. My family accuses me of being too much of a "theme-park commando!" Last time we did the Dumbo or Die in a Day Touring Plan from the Unofficial Guide and hubby didn't want to go back - it's been 3 years!

I don't have any answers for you but I wanted to wish you the best time at the Grand Floridian (a future dream of ours). I'm excited for you.

Thanks! The only reason we are going this fancy is because we are celebrating my 40th birthday (which is actually in December). Hopefully it will be worth it!

Hi Lou,

Thanks for reading the Unofficial Guide. I think the latest version of the Guide tells how to break those MK plans into two days, with an afternoon break. That may be more tolerable. Let me know if you have any questions about the Guide.

Sincerely,

Len Testa

Hi Len - I just love the Unofficial Guide it's a great book and I have the lastest one and I'm defianately going to be using it. I'm seriously considering using the 2-day MK touring plans, however I'm such a theme-park commando that I keep thinking that we are wasting time doing that. I must change that attitude! LOL

It can get pretty crowded that time of year as many people will be down for the Food n wine festival at Epcot and of couse Mickey's not so Scarey halloween party;)

It may not be completely insane but be prepared that it most likely will be crowded.

Thanks Scoootch! We weren't going to do the Extra Magic Hour but maybe we should? :earsboy:
