Two questions reffering to grey mansion top!

I have two questions. One, is grey rarer than black? Two, was grey only available by winning one of the halloween costume contests?

I can not speak to the rareness of the suits, they were both available for sale, the grey was also a prize for the halloween contest. They were both sold for the same amount of time. I think you see black more because people like the black better. It is possible some people passed on buying another pair of shoes although they are different (i think the grey shoes look like they are black but shined real well)

I dont think that it is rarer, bc my answer for two.

For the second question:

It was available in shops same as the black haunted suit.

Just my .02, but I think you see fewer gray suits because it was the last costume sold during Halloween and many had spent all their credits on the others. That was an expensive month!!

Tyvm everyone for your little two cents. I knew that it was a prize for costume contest, I just didn't know it was sold too

I believe the gray haunted mansion suit was only sold for ONE day - Monday (which is why I bought it even though it is ugly); whereas the black suit was sold over the weekend or maybe even for the whole week.

But then again.... this is Pink trying to remember all the way back to Halloween....

Threeboysmom is right, it was only sold for one day- Halloween.


The only thing I'm wondering is that VMK said they "wouldn't do anything for Halloween Day" so they would not "spoil our trick-or-treating fun".

If i remember correctly, Halloween day they did no events so they would not spoil trick or treating, but the gray suit was only sold that day. The actual events were done the fri and sat before halloween.
