Two Questions About "Tea" At The GF

Would you take a 3 year old to the afternoon tea at the Garden View Lounge?

What is the age for the Perfectly Princess Tea and what is the cost for one child and two adults? Is it worth it?

My DD will be 1 week shy of 3 years old when we go in Aug. 07 and this would be such a magical experience!

I have done tea at the Grand Floridian with my husband, it is elegant and if your child would like that type of thing and would feel comfortable in her surroundings there, I say why not. I have seen young children there behaving nicely and enjoying themselves.

I cant answer all your questions but cost for 2 adults and 1 child at the Princess Tea is 265. I am treating my daughter and my hubbie and son are doing something else. Last year based on price tag alone I wouldnt even consider it. But this is my daughters birthday. I still do not think price wise it could possibly be worth it..But my kids birthday...well was the 200 karate party really worth 200 no...Did I do it for my son? Yes...Did I regret it....No. SO I decided to do it. I think the doll the get is in the stores and is quite expensive...Not to say a great doll just expensive...I was thinking when I saw the dolls last year that they were trying to compete with the American Girl / My Twin dolls lines.

My DD (3 at the time) and I went to the Perfectly Princess Tea Party last May and had a wonderful time! It was a bit on the pricey side, but being our only daughter (with three brothers), my DH and thought we could manage the "splurge" to let her enjoy some Disney Magic! And, did we ever!!!! If you decide to go, be sure to dress up your little and BRING A CAMERA!!! This event only lasted 1 1/2 hours, but it was a morning we will never forget...As far as a 3yo being too young, I can tell you that they do a great job at keeping the girls occupied and entertained while eating..."Rose Petal" is a great storyteller and keeps the attention of all while you are there! My DD was kept very busy making her own "tea" at our table and listening to Rose Petal, etc. PM me if any more questions! Have fun!

We took a six year old to the GF afternoon tea and she didn't really enjoy it that much. Its not really a place where busy or loud children would be a good idea. The tables are pretty close together and they use real china, so lots of breakable stuff. I teach preschool and I can't think of very many of my three year old I'd take to the tea, but there are a few that could handle it. I still don't think they'd really have fun. It took almost two hours when we were there. Our six year old was getting pretty fussy by the time we were leaving.
