Two POP Questions.........

One - Does POP have luggage carts (the ones that bellmen use) that individuals can use to unload the car? We don't have luggage on wheels. We are usually a mismatched collection of dufflebags, grocery bags and tons of stuffed animals (there are 7 of us). I just remember how torturous it was loading the car last year, all the back and forth trips to collect our stuff in the late August heat was miserable . We stayed at ASSps and the luggage carts were chained when not in use, so I assumed they were only for the bellmen. This time we are at POP and I think I read on the boards that we can use the carts. I just need someone to confirm it.

Two - Are there dollar bill changers in the laundry rooms or do I need to travel with a bag of quarters?

You can borrow a cart from luggage services, you have to sign something about returning it our you get charged $250. Yes there is a bill changer in the laundry room.

it isn't call bell service - but luggage service - you don't have to tip them unless you want too.

Hi, I have been curious about this, I read somewhere that you can ask luggage services to deliver to your room, but then I read on another thread that if you have a car you cannot use this service :
Anyone with a car ever used luggage services?

it's luggage assistance at the values. they don't have full bell services. they will let you store bags there, but you're responsible for picking them up in person. they don't have anyone deliver bags to the room for you outside of DME.

We stayed at POP back in May. On my way to our car to unload our bags, I found a luggage cart just sitting out in the parking lot all by itself. I figured some other family had used it and left it there, so I loaded our bags onto it and proceeded to push it to our room.

About halfway to our room, a CM stopped me and asked where I got the cart. I told her it was sitting in the parking lot all by itself. She told me that I was not supposed to use it -- it was for luggage service only. I apologized and told her I did not know that or I would not have taken it. She thanked me for being polite and told me I could use it as long as I promised to return it...which I did.

So, the moral of this long boring story is...you're not supposed to use the luggage carts at POP.

But, maybe you could try what Tissa said and ask if you can sign for one?

We got a luggage cart at Pop, you just sign it out from Luggage Assistance. It's right outside the front doors of the check-in area.

They prefer you sign these out at Luggage Assistance desk just outside the Main Hall. They need to know what room you are in, just in case it doesn't get returned.
