Two Pirates a Princess and Parent's conquer the World...now with PICS

Thursday morning we all slept in until about 7:30, except for me...I got up at 7am and tried to call and get a reservation at 1900 park faire for this morning (I know I should've done it a long time ago...but I didn't plan on doing it until the day before when I decided there was no way DD and I could make it to MK and back within the 2 hours the boys were on the pirates cruise.) So of course there was nothing available. We headed to the main building to get something to drink, and get the boys a little something for breakfast. Since I was going to be all alone with the 3 kids I decided to take a taxi to the Grand Floridian. I asked bell services at 8am to call me a taxi they said it will be about 10 minutes...it was 35minutes... we made it to the Grand Floridian just in the nick of time. The cab fair from POR to GF was 12.00 ... So we checked the boys in for the Pirates Cruise, and headed back to the lobby where 1900 park faire is. I once again put on my nicest smile and crossed my fingers and asked if there was any way they could get a party of two in. The lady looked at me and said "Well I can, but be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes!" I was thrilled, we took our pager and sat down and it was about 5 minutes and we were seated. DD really enjoyed the character interaction (she'd never been to a character breakfast) and the food was great too...I was thrilled at our luck to get in! After breakfast we strolled around GF for a little while and then picked up the boys. I didn't want to wait 35 min for a cab again, so we jumped on the monorail and did the switch and took it to Epcot. We were lucky enough to get to ride in the front of the Monorail!! We then caught a bus back to POR...which worked well since Hubby and the inlaws were also in line for the bus from Epcot to POR. We ate lunch at POR, and then decided to head to the french quarter to swim.

We then headed back to the resort and got ready for dinner at Ohana.

We were seated within about 10 minutes, the food was great and the kids loved all of the games! I think DD ate her weight in chicken wings!

The inlaws were tired, so they headed back to their hotel...and we went out to the beach (it was so peaceful, and beautiful!)and watched the electrical water pagent...the plan was to stay and watch wishes but the kids were begging to go to DTD and get a few souveneirs so that is what we did! The polynesian was amazing...I would love to stay there sometime!

I was at MGM the day you were at Animal Kingdom. From the look of your pictures, I confirm that MGM was packed that day. We left at 7:45 and Fantasmic still had the show at 8:30 and 10:00. I wished we would of went back for the 10:00 p.m. show. It stopped raining and it warmed up, but my dh was sound asleep.

I was at Epcot too on Wednesday, wasn't that a gorgeous day.
