Two parks in the same night?

My husband and I will be going to WDW and doing the park May 4, 6, & 7 (have to work on the 5th). My priorities are Tron and GotG - and ensuring I see both Epcot and MK fireworks shows. We are currently planning to start in MK on the 4th and likely hop to Epcot later in the afternoon to get in some Flower and Garden before the weekend crowds descend. But now I'm wondering if it's possible to hop BACK over to MK in the evening now that the park is open until 11 that night. Since the 4th is the only day we are starting in MK - I know that's my only virtual queue day for Tron - so I was thinking of trying to get a VQ and if I can and it's not super late - do that and buy an ILL for late at night. That said - I just don't know if it's really feasible to hop over and do Epcot and see Epcot Forever fireworks and then hop back to MK at like 9:30 for like...an hour? Maybe?

The other option is start at MK on the 4th and still hop to Epcot, and buy an $ILL earlier in the day for Tron and hope we maybe also get a VQ - and then on Saturday which is the day we planned to start at Epcot and then hop over to MK later in the day (to beat F&G crowds) and buy a Tron $ILL that night and do VQ for Guardians that morning (although I think theoretically we could buy Tron and Guardians $ILL in the same day, right?)

Trying to fit a lot in a very small amount of time! (FWIW May 7th is AK day).

sure - it's not a problem to hop back to your original park. The rules still apply that you have to have a reservation at the original park and tap in to that park before hopping, which is still at 2:00. But your reservation is basically a guarantee for entrance to the first park for the entire day.

Ya I assume I could park hop - I guess I'm wondering if it's worth it to hop back and forth at night after fireworks at Epcot or if it won't be enough time.

Conversely I just realized HS has fantasmic at 10:30 on May 4th, and I'm wondering if that might be easier to get to then MK since I could go by boat (although May 4th in HS will probably be packed!)

It's definitely possible, but I don't know if it's worth it, personally. You won't have that much time back at MK and you'll have missed HEA by that point so it's really up to you whether you'd want to spend the time doing it. We had a late 'Ohana reservation on our last trip and could have gone back to MK for about an hour but by the time we were done, we were shot and just gave up, lol.

HS for Fantasmic on the other hand would probably be my plan if I were you. You can double dip the nighttime shows, the parks are fairly close together and I just plain love Fantasmic. If you're not planning any other HS time, that's a good way to fit that in.
