Can anyone point me in the direction of a book/website/etc that has a two park one day touring plan? Most of what my library has on universal is pretty lame - nothing really helpful beyond "ride the popular rides first" kinda stuff. Thanks!

I was curious about a 2 park 1 day plan for 2 adults. Also which park to visit first - IOA or Universal? Is there a day of the week that is good to go?

I was wondering what to do too. I was going to do Shrek at park opening (cause Shrek didn't have express pass) then Mummy , then go over to IOA, then back to Universal in the evening if I wanted to (since I didn't really need to do anything else there). But now that Shrek does have express, I wonder if I should do IOA in the a.m., relax at Citiwalk for lunch, then do Universal in the p.m. Hmmm ... decisions, decisions ....

Sorry - didn't answer your question, did I?

That's actually a good point, because in my tour plan, I also start at USF first, do Shrek, Mummy, then high tail it over to IOA to do the thrill ride tour.
It all depends on whether you want front seat rides on Hulk and Dueling dragons. My tour plans are here, but I may think about changing it around.

If you want front seat rides on Hulk and Dueling Dragons, do the thrill ride tour of IOA first. Then you can head over to USF and use single rider for the Mummy and MIB. You'll still wait 20 minutes a ride in the summer time with single rider, sometimes longer. It just depends on what ride is your favorite, and when you are visiting.

Robvia ..... what are the advantages of front row seats for DD and Hulk? Are they really so much better than any other seats? I hadn't planned on caring where I sat, but maybe I should? :confused3

Oh yes, front seat rides on the coasters is worth it, especially Dueling Dragons. You have to try it at least once, just to know. In the morning, lines are short, so you can do it.
On Hulk, you can see everything. When you go thru the tunnel, the mist hits your face (nice way to start the morning), and you can feel the wind.
On Ice, there is a wall you pass, and it seems like your feet are going to touch it.
On Fire, it heads towards the ground after the negative G hill and it seems like your feet are going to touch.
Plus a front seat ride in either side lets you see the near miss fly by.
Check out my IOA POVs to see what it looks like.
