Two new tickets in MDE...not sure?

The work-around would have been to book a room-only reservation and then buy the tickets needed for each guest as a separate transaction. It's unfortunate the CM didn't suggest this option.

As an update to this, yes this is what I was finally just told by a very helpful CM. Unfortunately, it’s not fixable at this point unless I have them refund the ticket prices and start over. This would tie up $1500 for up to a week, which I’m unable to float. The savings would have been $104, which would have paid for genie + and some LL purchases..

She said as a last resort to try talking to someone at ticket services before entering the park on my first day and hope I get pixie dusted. 🙁

Or, as I mentioned earlier...
If you can't cancel the 1-day tickets, you could SAVE them (unused and expired) so that their full value can be applied to tickets on a trip at some point in the future.
(And, you can still do the upgrade of the 3-day ticket(s) with an added day.)

there most likely won’t be a future trip. I did get confirmation that there is no way to change the three day tickets to 4 day tickets without cancelling everyone on the reservation or adding a 4th day to everyone on the reservation. That bit is true. Multiple CMs have now confirmed it. All people on the hotel package either have to no tickets (bought separately after hotel is bought) or all the same base ticket.

the only way to do it is cancel everyone’s tickets on the reservation and repurchase separately and add them in MDE later. But that ties up all my money.

If they are willing to make the changes for everyone, why not change everyone in the package to 3-day tickets?
Then, as soon as you arrive at WDW, upgrade the tickets of those who need it, by an extra day?

The problem is paying far too much for a stand-alone one-day ticket, when it is not needed.

Hmm. Good question because as of now, everyone does have three day base passes. I wonder if I can just cancel the two 1 day passes we have and purchase a 4th day at ticket relations when we get there. I will have to ask.

I have similar questions.

I have one 1 day ticket valid November 15 only which is loaded in MDE and they sent physical cards to us.
And one 3 day ticket valid November 15-19 which is loaded on MDE only.

We plan to be in the parks Nov 15,16,17,18.

Do I need to bring and swipe the physical cards for the 15th and use the magic bands the rest of the days? Or will they all work just using magic bands all the days? I’m confused.View attachment 614059

So just an update to this, we wasted an hour today because Disney let my daughters 1 day pass expire and instead made her 3 day pass priority. We both had same type of tickets and magic bands and mine was processed correctly and hers wasn’t.

If anyone has a smiliar ticket setup as we did, maybe keep an eye on it so you don’t get to a park with a plan to rope drop only to find you don’t even have a valid ticket.

Good reminder. Anytime you have 2 tickets valid for the same date(s) you should stop at Guest Relations or a ticket counter to get them prioritized. It is so much simpler to prioritize before a mix-up occurs than to fix it after.
