Two memberships, Two dvcmember.com logins?

Hi all,

I have my papers from Aulani and received my "one time activation code" to set up my dvcmember.com login.

The UY in my Aulani contract is different than the UY in my current contract. I understand that this means I have 2 memberships.

Does this mean that I *must* to set up a whole other login on dvcmember.com?

Do I have the option to view the Aulani contract through my current login so that everything is in one place?

We have two separate contracts (two different UYs) and one log in for DVC member site. It shows both contracts.

Both of our UY's show up under one login. DVC apparently caught it right away when we purchased the second thru resalel and it just showed up when they had input the info. If you are not seeing the Aulani under your current login then call MS.

My understanding is that the names associated on the memberships have to be identical or you will have two separate logins.

Did you select a different UY on purpose? If not I would recommend that you stick with only one.

I'll call and ask about the login info---I double checked the papers (which we still have to sign) and our names look the same...there is no new deed yet since we haven't finalized everything.

We selected a different UY for Aulani to fit our travel patterns to Hawaii...we mostly do Hawaii for Winter and early spring travel. We rarely go in the summer b/c airfare is too expensive and it's way too hot there (but not as hot as Florida in July & August).

Your UY makes perfect sense then. Having more than one does take more work and adds an additional layer of challenges when trying to use points from both memberships.

Thanks! We're actually now considering keeping the two separate logins in order to make sure we remember the different banking deadlines. I also read elsewhere that someone had to click on different pages to see the different contracts if everything is under 1 login...I guess I have to think about it some more.

Our names are opposite on the memberships. On the larger one, Bill's is first. On the resale we bought, mine is first. So they always have to look around to find the resale points. But they both showed up on the DVC members website.

Ok...so we called MS today and although MS can pull up both of my contracts (w/different UY) without me providing the member ID number for the other contract.

However, I was told that I was assigned different "Club ID" numbers.

Because I have different Club ID numbers, I cannot see both contracts through 1 login.

Uhh----what is a Club ID number?

And if MS has my 2 contracts linked anyway through their system (and can see both), why can't I see both on my dvcmember.com page?

You may want to ask for a supervisor to try and get it straightened out. I think the Club ID is part of what designates what you see on the website - ie, why you received another activation code but maybe I'm way off base. Other than the fact that Disney IT is never easy, I would think it should be something they can fix.

When I purchased a resale I made sure to get same UY but I didn't relize it was titled in just my name. I was issued a separate membership. To change it would require re titling it. I've functioned for the past 8 years with the two memberships; it has actually come in handy when we did a large family gathering two years in a row and needed to get piont transfers in I was within the same year for bothe transfers couldn't transfer in again to my original account but could do so into the secondary membership.
