So I've been playing around with this forever and going back and forth between regular and deluxe dining for weeks! We finally booked and decided on the regular dining plan so we could splurge on things like MNSSHP and the WP&M tickets. Besides this is DBf's first visit to Disney and we don't have enough time as it is to do everything I want to! We don't have park hoppers as it seems we wont need them.

DBf is not a real Disney fan and mostly agreed to this vacation because he wants to go to Universal and he loves to see me happy :) so we won't be doing any character meals.

So here is our plan:

Monday, 9/10: Arrival day/Typhoon Lagoon/EMH at Hollywood Studios
5:30pm Mama Melrose - Fantasmic! Package (latest ADR possible for pkg)

Tuesday, 9/11: Universal Studios/Downtown Disney/Disney Quest
7:30pm T-Rex

Wednesday, 9/12: Blizzard Beach/EMH at Epcot
No ADR Beaches & Cream whenever we get out of BB OOP

Thursday, 9/13: Islands of Adventure/Downtown Disney?
No ADRs for this day will probably eat OOP at Citywalk but may do Wolf Gang Puck Express? Expecting to be exhausted at this point in the trip so will probably skip DTD

Friday, 9/14: Animal Kingdom/MNSSHP
5:45pm 'Ohana

Saturday, 9/15: Epcot
12:00pm Le Cellier
7:00pm Via Napoli

Sunday, 9/16: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach/EMH at Magic Kingdom
1:45pm Liberty Tree Tavern OOP
7:00pm Whispering Canyon Cafe

Monday, 9/17: Hollywood Studios & Departure
11:00am Sci-Fi Dine In

Your choices are good but for 'love birds' I'd recommend dropping via napoli for san angel unless you for you italian>mexican...ambiance is definitely better at san angel.

Since you're going to the waterparks...they have counter service Pizza there...buffalo chicken pizza that is some of the best pizza ever, LOL...

Anyway, I'd say good choice with POP, but if you can afford it, especially for you and your BF, I'd go deluxe. A lot of the 2 TS meals are great for couples. Late night Yachtman's Steakhouse (my favorite) or California Grill sounds pretty awesome to me. Oh well, for me it's CRT and Hollywood & Vine for the next few years...

Hi! Thanks your suggestions. I'm not really a fan of Mexican food. I don't have a very adventurous palate ;) I was debating between Via Napoli and Tutto Italia but couldn't really find any dishes that struck my fancy for Tutto. I know Tutto is being refurbished now so maybe a new menu will come with that? Pizza is safe and I'm pretty sure we'll be really full from Le Cellier/snacking and drinking around the world.

Yummm I love buffalo chicken pizza!! Is it available at both parks? Did you remember which specific CS location it was?

I really want to do deluxe but my DBf doesnt want to spend that much money and I think I'd rather save the calories/dollars for yummy mixed drinks :) maybe well go back once we graduate college and do the fancy signatures. Till then I'll dream :cloud9:

Looking at your dates, did you book under free dining?

You won't regret your choice of POP. You don't have to stay at a deluxe for it to be romantic. DH and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary last year at POP. We took walks out by the lake, swam in the deserted "quiet" pools late at night, and enjoyed our time together - you will too. ;)

The only thing I see here that may cause a problem is Le Cellier. I read somewhere (I am on these boards everyday, so forgive me if I don't remember where LOL) that by Fall, Le Cellier may be a signature choice at LUNCH as well, so that would be 2 TS credits ... thus causing a glitch in your carefully laid plans. Be sure to check into this before you get your heart/plans set, okay?

Hi! We did get free dining - the only reason why we can afford to go! :)

We're super excited for POP! We were thinking about doing a moderate hotel but POFQ wasn't available for FD when we were booking and POP just seems so fun! I doubt we'll be doing much at the hotel besides sleeping and eating breakfast as we have a very tight touring schedule to keep ;)

I would be so sad if that happens with Le Cellier :(!! I'll have to look into it and keep my eyes open. Thanks for the heads up... seriously!!!

Just make sure you build yourselves in some down time! I know you're young (a lot younger than we are, to be sure!), but do take time to enjoy where you're staying, use the pools, etc. Take goofy pics of yourselves with the larger-than-life Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, etc.

Also, looking back at your OP, not sure what you mean by "appropriate" at T-Rex. Do you mean for adults? If it is anything like Rainforest Cafe, there will probably lots of kids there, but adults-only parties as well. If you're looking for something more mainstream (without the decorations and meteor showers, etc.), maybe House of Blues or Bongos would be more your style.

Good luck whatever you decide ... and remember ... HAVE FUN! I know you want to do it all, but take a breather every once in a while and enjoy the quiet moments, too. ;)

Had you thought of the carriage ride over at POR/POFQ? :)

You make a good point. I think I have over scheduled myself a bit. I'm expecting to get through the parks fairly quickly because I know there is going to be things were not going to do in the parks because DBf will have no interest. I'm hoping we can squeeze downtime that way. I definitely want to sit next to the pool with a pina colada one night and rest my feet ;)

I was mostly concerned that we would get weird looks for being at T-Rex as DTD has more "adult" options. But then I remembered its Disney and everyone is a kid there :)

I'll definitely look into that carriage ride! Maybe well get the beignets I want so badly and do the boat ride to DTD

I've always heard that California Grill during Wishes is one of the most romantic spots - my husband and I are going there sans kids on my birthday!

We are trying Cali Grill during Wishes for the first time as well!

Plus Sci Fi, Coral Reef, and 'Ohana Breakfast. Not sure I'd call these three romantic, but we will sure have fun.

As PP's mentioned, just don't run yourself into the ground. Find time for two pina coladas instead of just one :thumbsup2
