Two Graduations, the world and a DISmeet

Well it is Tuesday night. My son graduates in 2 night and my daughter graduates in 3 nights. I am so ready to get to WDW.

I just checked us all in online so less than 24 hours now I will be on the plane headed to Orlando.

My earrings are just plain studs... I guess it was meant to be since they reflected like mickey's in the picture...

That's funny, those look just like the Mickey earrings I bought two weeks ago at Mousegear.

So far we have arrived at MCO, we all slept on the plane but a 2 hour flight just does not cut it when you are so very tired.

DS's graduation was outside and so very hot, I mean HOT, like everyone was miserable. Traffic was so bad getting to the college, it is only 15 miles from the house but took us an hour and a half to get there. DS was late for the line up and was put in the back of the line.

Ok, so they go thru all of the speeches, and we are all excited but it drags on and on.... Everyone had so much to say and so many people to thank. I did not think it was going to end. There were 1900 plus students to get through.

They are going in alphabetic order and we are a "G" so I keep waiting and then finally into the G's, camera aimed and ready and then we move to the "H's"... no DS...

Wait a minute, what is going on? So we are texting back and forth, and since he was late, he does not get called until after everyone else is called.... So the crowd is very thin by now, we are 2.5 hours into this thing and finally! the "Z" and starting over at A's, lord please help us get through this night!

Then his name is called! He runs off the stage, I barley get a picture and he is gone.

We go to an after graduation gathering of people so he can see his friends and then we leave him there and come home. We get back at 10:56PM, we left the house at 5:00PM....

As you know we have not packed anything yet. So let the packing begin!

We finish everything up at 1:00 AM and set the alarms, we have to get a move on, and be up by 3:30 AM to make the flight!

Lets see it was still dark outside we all file into the truck and head to the airport, we park in one of those off site parking places, file into a van and get to the airport.

Walk up to the reprint kiosk to print boarding passes and then to security...Walked thru the puffer machine, i have no idea what they are really called but it was one of those full body scanners that tests the air around you... I must have passed that test and we were all on our way. I think the entire process from parking to sitting at the gate was a whole 30 minutes, super easy and quick. BWI was on their toes this morning....

Plane arrives we board and get ready to fly....



2 short hours of sleep later we arrive at MCO

We trek it seems like a mile to the Magical Express and wait in line.... and then we board ready for the resort....



notice the dazed look in DH's eyes..... he is so sleepy, but no time for rest... must keep going.... must keep going...

Home sweet Home for the next few nights....

We have a 1 bedroom villa, garden view. When you walked out our back doors to the balcony, all you could see was a huge tree and the quite pool.
