Two family`s one world!
I`ve been planning this trip since May! Here are the cast members
Me (early for everything , so we dont miss it) also celebrating a birthday this trip
my DH (he follows me and says ok , whatever you wanna do)
my DD-10 (the birthday princess who reached double digits this trip!)
my DD-8 (climber of anything he can climb on, and totally here to torture his sister!
And the 2nd family
Sandy (my close friend who plans nothing)
Her DH Michael who also follows me and says ok what next)
and their kids twins 7 y/o 1 boy (who wants to do everything twice b/c he is fascinated with it all and his sister (who tells every character they are her favorite!)
OMG what a day makes, it was so crowded at POP we didnt even tempt trying to have breakfast here! Straight to epcot....................I need to meet Crush! Its open finally! YAY! ONE HOUR WAIT! YIKES! Well at least there are things to occupy the kids while I wait in line. They have a kids stop station in there and lots of fish to look at. We got in the second show, and it was way totally cool dude! They let the little ones sit on the floor in front and crush randomly picks kids out of the audience to talk to. He picked my son first, he goes dude, whats your name. "Chalie" He goes "so Chalie who brought u here?" "my mom and dad" he goes "where are chalie`s mom and dad" so I raised my hand, I was so excited I got to talk to Crush! LOL
Then they went around the room and let the kids ask Crush a question, and my DD got picked, she was so excited, what are the chances that both kids and their mom all get to talk to the Crush! Another magical moment!
Walking out of the living seas we ran into the huge live starfish, I was startled when it went to walk! We stood there watching other people freak from it, b.c it was huge, on stilts and stayed still til someone would get close and then it would walk towards them! Really funny to see peoples reactions!
Starving by now , since we didnt have breakfast we try and get something to eat.............I c mc donalds in world showcase, a cheesburger sounds so good by now, no cheeseburgers? whats up with that? only chicken nuggets and fries, ok lets walk on, ok heres coffee and danish, nah we`ll keep on, next stand fish n chips, my DH is starving, fish n chips it is! Not for me and the kids, we decide to leave him in line and stroll back to Mickey D`s, he got his food and met us. With full bellies now,
I wanted to get our family disney visa pictures taken and it was close to 1pm by now. 1/2 hour to wait, so we wondered into innoventions and emailed my mom a picture, then we emailed a video in "star in your own commercial" and both my kids got to play a video interaction game of tag, your it as cartoons. My DD recycled paper at a stand in there too. This is what we called homeschool today! By this time , it was time to get in line for our family picture. We were the 3rd family in line, and the characters hadnt arrived yet.
It ended up being Goofy, Minnie and Donald. We didnt really care which characters were there, since we got to see alot this trip already! Did our picture, and were out of there , time to get to MGM , we have adr`s for hollywood and vine and meet our other family.
We get FP for RNR and my DD and I get in line to do it while my DH and DS wait for us. By the time we get off , it is time for the FP, so I wait with my son and my DH goes on with her again!
We talk my not so daredevil son to come on TOT with us, he loved it! As we get off (it was a 1 hour wait) I decided to grab fastpasses for Sandy and Mike and their kids.
Almost time for dinner at HW&V for our fantasmic package (we had 6:20 adr`s) we meet up with them and check in.........WHAT we won`t be sat til around 7, they r running late....................OK I sent them to do TOT, we will wait for them here.
I leave my DH with my kids sitting waiting , and run over to the photopass place to pick out my free 5x7 of our family photo in Epcot...............O NO , I am told that the only place you can view them would be at Epcot or the GF` We leave tomorrow for home, what to do, what to do. Go talk to them at guest relations he is telling me. I run to guest relations and frantically explain to the girl there, she says wait right here, I`ll find out. Comes back in 10 minutes, explaining I`m not ignoring you, I`m trying to get you a code to order your picture online when you get home. OK I tell her, I got to meet my family at HW&V for dinner and gave her my name, room # and email address and go back to meet my DH. All of a sudden a woman appears and goes O I`m so glad I found you..............I need the fastpass numbers, I called Epcot and the girl there is going to print the family photo and drop it off at POP tonite! Are they wonderful or what? This is one of the reasons I love disney so much!
7:00 on the dot we are seated, Sandy and Mike and the twins come right now, talk about perfect timing. Dinner was wonderful! And just in time for the 2nd fantasmic show (8:30) Our other family has never experienced this show, so they were really fascinated and greatful to be with us, people who knew where to be and what to see! And I`m thanking all you wonderful, knowledgible people who helped me make it all happen!
Next will be "now its time to say goodbye to you and all your friends!" Our final day...................
