I'm so excited your pre-trip report is up! Your itinerary looks really great! Isn't it amazing that no matter how many times you go to Disney you can still experience so many "firsts". I have a list for my trip of things that I want to do for the first time and this will be my third trip. I can't wait to hear about the Keys to the Kingdom tour. That is something I have always wanted to do. I am looking forward to the rest!!

hey, lynda! i meant to ask you this and i forgot earlier. you said you're stopping in dalton, georgia to spend the night. do you know how long it takes you from dalton to WDW? it seems like you stopped there on your last trip, too, or did i imagine that? anyway, we live about 45 miles north of atlanta (but on the opposite side, up I-85) and i'm thinking it will probably take us about 7 hours, but i'm really not sure. also, how fast do you normally drive? i wont' tell if you speed!

That was kinda my thinkin'. I get to just keep writing! Well, I thought it was pretty cool! Plus, I think they knew we would be going to WDW again. (and again...and again).

Thanks and thanks for reading! Oh, yeah! We still have tons of stuff we have never done before. We'll be scratching a lot off the list in September too! (Food and Wine, MNSSHP, more restaurants) But there will still be so much! That's one of the things I love about the place. I'm always amazed when people I work with ask me if I ever get tired of it and if we're doing anything new this time. Uh, yeah! It's hard not to! There's soooooo much!

It takes us roughly 8 hours from Dalton to WDW. It's pretty much the halfway point for us. We stop there a lot. But that's a rough estimate. Sometimes we make good time, and it might be shorter. Speed limit is 70 in GA, right? (Ours in IL is 65.) I think we usually drive between 75 and 80.

Lynda, I just noticed our paths will cross! We will be at Epcot Sat. (19th) for dinner at Le Cellier and then we are headin' to AC! I will def. have to keep an eye out for y'all! DH and I are always looking to have a little fun with other DISers.

That is cool! Yeah, definitely watch for us! It would be a blast to run into other DISers at AC! that place! I think I will post a photo of some of my LGMHPC "handiwork" later on, so you'll know what to look for. We won't be quite so loaded down at AC, but I do want to take my big camera this time. It's so hard to get good pictures there with my little one. We'll see! Can't wait!

Yeah, I used to be a paramedic and firefighter, so I knew a fair number of cops back then, and got some inside info that way! But we're still pretty careful out there. #1) I don't want to get a speeding ticket! (I have never had one!) and #2) I used to be a paramedic, so I know what can happen when someone isn't careful!

There will always be something new to do at Disney! It amazes me that so many people think that Disney is just an amusement park. It is so much more! Are you planning on decorating your resort door or window with your LGMHPC?

Yes, it is sooooo much more!

Not sure yet. I meant to get some adhesive magnet strips to stick on the back of some of the LGMHPC I had laminated. I heard all the doors on the rooms are metal, so I could stick some on there that way. Don't know if we'll do the window on this trip. At OKW, I don't know how many people would actually see that. I do have some LGMHPC attached to both of our camera bags, and I have one that I wear on my lanyard. I'll take some photos to post. I might make more for this trip, but I'm not sure yet. I do have some supplies from Home Depot that we've been accumulating!

seriously, i don't mind people coming up to me in the parks or wherever, but my hotel room is my personal space for downtime (if there is such a thing at WDW) and i can just imagine some crazy person knocking on my door at 4:00 a.m. saying, "hey, i saw your lime green mickey heads. i'm a DISer, too! see....i can prove it. check out my lime green crocs and my bagalinni! let's go hang out at the pool and talk about disney movies and be best friends!!!!!" c'mon, you know you guys have seen one or two crazies on here!

As a fellow Disney Dork myself, I am in the process of converting my boyfriend..he hasn't been since 1999 and that was for only 1 day at Epcot!!! Crazy huh!? So i am hoping with some he gets just as dorky as me!
