Two different parades at Christmas time?

It’s been a few years since we have been back for the Holidays. I know things can/do change. But this past holiday season, was it only the one parade shown twice? Once at day and again at night?

I was hoping we could see Magic Happens once and the Holiday show once. as much as we love the holiday parade, it’s a huge tradition, it would be nice to see the other one too

It will be the holiday parade. Logistically, I don’t think Disneyland can actually run two parades in the same park on the same day.

Didn’t they run Paint the Night and the Christmas parade in 2015 & 2016? I remember watching Paint the Night on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend in 2016. But I also did the holiday time tour that week and had seating for the Christmas parade….

This got me curious about Halloween time, I was under the impression the Halloween parade was only during the party, does this mean there is no parade for regular guests? Or are there tow different ones since it's 2 dif parks?

I couldve sworn back in the day (pre-covid) there were two parades. But I could definitely be wrong. As cute as the dancing reindeer are, i wanted to see the new one. Oh well. Less time to have to wait

That is so interesting! That must not be easy to do. The first time I saw Paint the Night it was a DCA. I think that was 2017

Since the Halloween party moved to DCA, that wouldn't affect a parade at DL. I believe they can both run one at a given time.

When they had both a daytime and nighttime parade, the daytime parade would run once from town square to small world. With the nighttime parade running twice. They have 2 parade barns at small world, only 1 at town square. So they used to have to reset the daytime parade overnight each night down to town square. I can’t imagine them going back to that model now.

That may have been the case during the holidays. However, when it was soundsational and PTN, soundsational usually only ran once at 3:30.

yeah fair enough but I think the original question was about during the Christmas holidays (albeit this past year when there was only one parade period lol)
